ADUG Autumn Symposium 2026 is on

Hello folks!

The Australian Delphi User Group is pleased to announce the Autumn Symposium 2026 on Friday, the 8th May 2026. As last year we will meet at The Bridge Hotel Mordialloc in 1-4 Nepean Highway, Aspendale VIC 3195.

The topics are

  • Automating Better Code in Delphi
    by Alister Christie

  • Delphi in the Dairy: Transforming Automation Across Australia and New Zealand
    by David Chandler

  • Beyond the Chatbot: Embedding Context-Aware AI into Your RAD Studio Applications
    by Malcolm Groves

  • Pascal in an AI world
    by Michael Van Canneyt

As a special feature of this year we will have all speakers on-site in Melbourne. This means there is a good chance you can talk to one or all of them in one of the many breaks. This is why you should consider coming in person, even if you attended online in the last few years.

Here is the link to the announcement page for the symposium with the link to register.

Kind regards,

Thank you for putting on another ADUG symposium. Count me in!

Many of us are sole developers so it presents a great opportunity to have a day “out of the office” and catch up with those I haven’t seen in person for a year or so.

I’m sure, like me, you’re wondering how to incorporate AI into your product or how to take advantage of AI coding assistants. After the presentations all the topics will continue to be fodder for interesting discussions over dinner.

The Bridge Hotel in Mordialloc is a fabulous location with a great menu so I’m planning on not eating at home that night.

And with all speakers on site, no Zoom or technical hitches this year!

Save the date - Friday 8th May !

Cheers Richard

Will I see you at the Autumn Symposium 2026 in person this year?

David Chandler is leaving the Dairy for a day.

Alister Christie is jumping the ditch to be there and will be Better for it.

Malcolm Groves is jetting in from interstate according to some Chat I hear.

Michael Van Canneyt is flying in from somewhere else in the World.

Be an “early bird” like me and book your seat now!

I don’t have as far to travel as Rohit, 10 minutes up the road, but I’ve still made sure I took advantage of the early-bird registration.

The prospect of all presenters being in the room makes it feel like the good old days before COVID.

Looking forward to catching up on the day.
