Last night started out as a bit of a disaster.
I got to the MMS, and discovered I had forgotton my Daypack, Laptop etc
I was eventually able to get the desktop in the MMS connected to zoom,
but it didn’t want to connect to the large TV screen or webcam, and it
didn’t have a microphone.
I tried reconnecting with some of the other HDMI cables but none worked.
So, for a short time we used my phone connected to Zoom.
There was a bit of discussion with Sue about the Axialis Iconvectors program.
She has had it and used it for a while. And finds it quite good.
Geoff arrived, and from there things started to get better.
He connected his lapotp to the HDMI port, but the TV was not seen…
John then came to rescue and realised/discovered that all the HDMI
cables had been unplugged from the TV.
We plugged one in, and wound up with the desktop screen on the big
screen… Hmmm. We tried a bit harder and also plugged in the cable
connected to Geoff’s laptop. Got the webcam connected, and finally yay.
Geoff then gave us with zero notice (Sorry Geoff) a bit of a
presentation on his latest AI endeavours.
It was good to see Tony, who has used SVG in the past. So came along to
see the presentation. (But was unfortunately disapointed)
