Beyond Compare 5 has been released

Almost 10 years since Beyond Compare 4 was released, Scooter Software released Beyond Compare 5 about 2 weeks ago.

For the three people who didn’t immediately click that link, credit card in hand, know that Beyond Compare is probably the most useful piece of software you could own after Delphi itself.

It’s always been ridiculously good value too, with a low cost and a one off purchase. For the previous version they regularly released fixes and new features for going on 10 years now.

There’s a Standard and Pro version, I don’t know much about the differences between the two, but just go Pro. It’s not expensive and you’re sure to keep finding new uses for it.

Thanks, Lachlan, for the hint.
I just ordered it, downloaded it, installed it, imported the BeyondCompare 4 sessions and ran my batch file to backup all my changed data im 1 min 10 sec. :grinning:

Has anyone managed to get BC5 working with TortoiseHG (mercurial)?
