Sorry, this is a bit late, but we need a presenter/presentation for our October AGM and monthly meeting.
It is just under 4 weeks away. (20th October)
Do you have a great presentation you have been dying to give at an Adug meeting?
(or even just an ok one maybe)
Or can point me at someone who does have one?
If you don’t have one now but want to offer one for 'ron that would also be good and useful.
I was just talking yesterday about doing one as it’s been a while.
I have been developing a proof of concept to add AI assistant features to one of our Delphi products. From our Delphi desktop app you can interact with a domain specific chatbot, get app help, automate app functionality and analyse data displayed within the app. Supports text and voice in/out and uses tool calls for the app specific features. It has a python backend talking to a PostgreSQL vector DB and a few AI models (voice transcription, embeddings, LLM, TTS). 95% developed using AI coding tools.
I’ll need to get approval but should be ok. Let me know if interested.
Actually Yes, I am interested, thanks.
AI seems to be (just a little bit) topical with quite some interest around it.
I imagine many of the attendees would be quite interested in the possibilities of having AI in their programs helping their clients. Rather than just using AI during the programming stage.
So if you can do a presentation on this I would like you too, and I think it will be well received.
I can talk for as little or as long as needed. Probably minimum half hour but there is so much to it that I can go into more detail, show more code, talk about a bunch of things to consider, up to 1.5-2 hours perhaps? Let me know how much time I have
