Delphi 11.1 Alexandria {$IFDEF VER350} or {$IFDEF VER360}

Does anyone have any insight into why 11.1 is still Alexandria.
Full name “RAD Studio 11 Alexandria - Release 1”

Is it Ver360
VER350 Delphi 11.0 Alexandria / C++Builder 11.0 Alexandria
VER340 Delphi 10.4 Sydney / C++Builder 10.4 Sydney
VER330 Delphi 10.3 Rio / C++Builder 10.3 Rio

The docwiki link key is still Alexandria

I assume that there have been some changes to the source code and the language and as such DCUs from 11 Alexandria cannot be linked with 11.1 but then how do you get help on the new code.

Maybe the change in naming conventions caused the docwiki collapse.

they switched away from their silly mac like version numbers to major.minor - which is a good move. So 11.2 (assuming there is one) would also still be alexandria and binary compatible.

Is that a confirmation that 11.1 is binary compatible with 11?

That is correct Roger – if you need to check for 11.1 as opposed to 11.0 then you can use RTLVersion111.
