The link will give you a fresh safe download of my project so far so read the about page and say what you think!!!

No offense, but nobody in their right mind should download and run a random .exe from the web these days.

Define random. With the corporate hack volume these days, you can’t trust anything, including supposedly secure and QA checked updates.

At least you get to choose which ‘random exes’ you download and run – unlike updates .

I’d go for a random exe any day over an update.

Adam.

After months of suffering these threads, I’m unsubscribing: a lot of these “questions” do not merit any answers.

I don’t have a virus and is brand new compiled file
I have many issues little things
TStringGrid will not show as a shaded cells in fixed cells
I get the string grid editor to work - you type in the editor - no exit editor event - no collection of the editor string and not able to put the editor text in the cell
I cannot load the - save file dialog with a default extension
At the same time I need to use a winzip of some type for Linux and Windows use
with these issues out of the way its looking to be a very impressive type of a registry application as the majority of the project is now complete.
I was hoping for an opinion that is all

I do not see any threads from you

You don’t need to use WinZip - ZIP file handling is built into RAD Studio / Delphi.

Look at: System.Zip.TZipFile - RAD Studio API Documentation

It’s very easy to use and will create/read zip files without anything else needed.

He meant threads from you, not the other way around.

I had said back to Alexander Pastuhov we have had no threads from him

Ian you are always good to hear from
