Web development with Delphi is possible and there are several nice options, such as the relatively new Web Stencils, which comes in the box since D12, TMS WebCore great commercial SPA solution, of course IntraWeb the old lady I helped to develop, and the just released Quartex as the new kid on the block - to name just a few possible frameworks.
Not every tool is for every problem to solve though, decide wisely and take your time to evaluate which tool serves your needs best.
The Web development world outside of Delphi advanced at unbelievable speeds over the past 10 years or so. That means:
For native development with databases in mind, there is hardly anything that beats Delphi. When it comes to Web development, though, make sure you don’t make your decision just because you know Delphi, it got to be a Delphi Web tool. There is much more to consider and chose from.Holger Flick, just started a blog series that takes a deep dive on non-Delphi Web development - for Delphi developers. We will probably complete that series with a practical Webinar showing how to use your Delphi skills for a Delphi-compiled backend that drives your non-Delphi Web frontend.
